Interview:

MDSS: How did hear about MDSS?
Machman: My friend Justin (CustomX) told me about it.

MDSS: Why and when did you purchase the ride you have?
Machman: I had a 1996 Grand AM GT that had seen it's last legs at 170,000 miles and wanted a new car. This was in 2004. I had always wanted a Trans AM, but they stopped production in 2002. I opted for the Mach 1 and never looked back.

MDSS: Daily, Weekend, show, or race car?
Machman: Formerly a daily driver. My Focus now gets most of the mileage. The Mustang is no longer practical.

MDSS: What modification on your vehicle do you like the most?
Machman: I'd say the NX kit but I haven't even got to play with it yet!

MDSS: What was the last modification you installed on your ride?
Machman: C4 Pro-formance transmission, NX wet kit, Clevite rod bearings and 3 inch wheel studs are all kinda happening at the same time.

MDSS: Are there any future plans for this ride?
Machman: With luck some 10 second time slips and a trophy or two. No plans at all for the car once I get it back.

MDSS: How long have you been working on this ride?
Machman: Since February of '04 when I bought it brand new from the show room.

MDSS: Are you into the show or race scene? Or both?
Machman: Mostly race, but the car is kinda pretty. Never won anything at a car show though.

MDSS: Do have any sponsors?
Machman: VISA and Mastercard

MDSS: Are you a part of a local car crew?
Machman: I'm a moderator at SOMDRacing.com. Our site has it's moments, but it's a smaller scale than this one...
