Interview:

MDSS: How did hear about MDSS?
Gino z32: My buddy Jeff (b0rdin4life) actually turned me on to MDSS last year for the meet at Arundel Mills

MDSS: When and why did you purchase the ride you have?
Gino z32: I purchased my current Z 4 years ago. I got t-boned in my old black NA 300ZX and knew a friend that was getting rid of his TT, so I snatched it up for a pretty good price.

MDSS: What kind of condition was it in?
Gino z32: It wasn't in the greatest condition but it wasn't horrible. It had fairly high miles on the motor/chassis (~180k), had some oil leaks, and some small cosmetic issues.

MDSS: Daily, Weekend, show, or race car?
Gino z32: Little bit of everything. I have another car I can daily if need be, but the only time the Z really gets put away is for the winter.

MDSS: What modification on your vehicle to you like the most?
Gino z32: I would have to say the HKS Hiper exhaust. Quiet at idle with a nice deep tone (albeit a decent bit louder) at WOT. Not to mention the almost completely straight piping.

MDSS: What is the most expensive part on your car?
Gino z32: Believe it or not, the hood is actually the most expensive part on the car...for now...

MDSS: What was the last modification you installed on your ride?
Gino z32: The last mod I installed was the SAFC (and the EGR delete, but that barely counts as a mod). Other than that my time has been spent fixing problems that have popped up over time (i think im finally all done though!)

MDSS: What has given you the most headache working on your car? (Part, experience, shop)
Gino z32: The thing that has given me the biggest headache working on my car would have to be fixing and redoing a lot of issues that a shop (which will remain nameless for now) caused (mainly wiring issues).

MDSS: How much of the work have you gotten your hands dirty with versus outsourcing to a shop?
Gino z32: For the most part I do all my work myself. The only big exception was 2 years ago when the "new" motor got installed. The only reason I had it sourced to a shop was because the motor was under warranty from them and was all kinds of fubar.

MDSS: Are there any future plans for this ride?
Gino z32: Big plans...lets just say about this time next year I should be putting down double my current dyno numbers with the turbos spooling up as fast as stockers...

MDSS: How long have you been working on this ride?
Gino z32: I have been working on this car since i got it...4 years ago...

MDSS: Are you into the show or race scene? Or both?
Gino z32: I am somewhat into both. I have no respect for a purpose built show car. Cars are meant to be driven, fast cars are meant to be driven fast. I would rather have a car that has show and go then just one or the other.

MDSS: Do have any sponsors?
Gino z32: No sponsors, but would love to get some

MDSS: Are you a part of a local car crew?
Gino z32: I am actually the president of MarylandZClub (MZC), a member of Speed Illusionz (VJC), and I'm sure there are some other "crews" I'm associated with, just can't remember.

Shout outs: Pretty much all my good friends and my girl who have put up with me and the car. All you guys on here who put up with me as well.
