Interview:

MDSS: How did hear about MDSS?
civicexracer: Kinda stumbled upon it searching for local forums.

MDSS: When and why did you purchase the ride you have?
civicexracer: Was my brothers car and when he got a new car my parents handed it down to me. I sure am happy my dad decided on this car back ~12 years ago.

MDSS: What kind of condition was it in?
civicexracer: Pretty good. Parents bought it new back in '95 and my brother took good care of it. Got it with about ~150k miles on it, motor running strong and paint in great shape for never being garaged. Currently have 185k miles, still running strong and paint is still great and hasnt been garaged.

MDSS: Daily, Weekend, show, or race car?
civicexracer: Daily and race car.

MDSS: What modification on your vehicle to you like the most?
civicexracer: The custom Ground Control/Koni suspension.

MDSS: What is the most expensive part on your car?
civicexracer: Ground Control/Koni suspension

MDSS: What was the last modification you installed on your ride?
civicexracer: Some Energy Suspension bushings here and there.

MDSS: What has given you the most headache working on your car? (Part, experience, shop)
civicexracer: Having to deal with 2 broken Lower Control Arm bolts when installing suspension components.

MDSS: How much of the work have you gotten your hands dirty with versus outsourcing to a shop?
civicexracer: Since i've had the car, it's only seen a shop a couple times and for very short time, once for dealing with one of those broken bolts mentioned above. I did as much work possible before the shops got their hands on it.

MDSS: Are there any future plans for this ride?
civicexracer: To keep it going strong and keep building the car to be competitive in SCCA Street Touring Sport. For mods, biggest would be having the Koni shocks rebuilt and going with high spring rates.

MDSS: How long have you been working on this ride?
civicexracer: Since I got it almost 3 years ago.

MDSS: Are you into the show or race scene? Or both?
civicexracer: Race

MDSS: Do have any sponsors?
civicexracer: Rubber Duckie Racing

MDSS: Are you a part of a local car crew?
civicexracer: Rubber Duckie Racing
