MD august 7-8th and want to show your ride you can register day of the event for $30 outside since inside is sold out, your car will be judged and you can leave the lot by 6pm need to be there by 9am saturday if you wanna show with a chance to win. It was very much like the first car show in June if you weren't there for the concert/celebrity stuff later in the day. I didn't have all day to spend there so I came in around 11am Saturday and stayed for a few hours. Lots of promotions (EA, Monster, DUB (obviously), loud music, slutty looking girls, overdone cars. It was about what I expected.

I can tell you from the 3 hours I spent there at the Absolute Pro-Formance booth yesterday, the quality of foot-traffic was a lot better, as in, less trashy. I only saw one kid that was high/drunk out of his mind (at 11am mind you). Other than that, I think the people at this one were a lot better, there was a much smaller turnout in terms of vehicles, but the quality was higher; though not my style.

I can appreciate the amount of work into anything even if it's not the route I'd go.

Very well said! I think that the issue now in the car scene is there are SEVERAL different styles and all others trash the one that is not theirs. As such, it brings down the shows and events. Maybe it is because I am over 30 now that I am realizing this but as you say...good/hard work is good/hard work even if it is hot pink and has 55" rims.
